Functional Orthodics

Functional orthotics change the very positioning of the feet, which gives the patient more effective results than over-the-counter orthotics.  Patients with abnormal biomechanics can be realigned using functional orthotics to help prevent or slow the formation of deformities such as bunions, hammertoes, neuromas, and osteoarthritis.  Over-the-counter insoles are unable to offer this positioning change. Our office utilizes paster casting to provide the most accurate individual cast in order to produce the best fitting and controlling orthotics.  Functional orthotics are meant to be a long time benefit to provide reduction of injury and to keep the patient active and healthy.
